What I Like About One Piece

Simply put, One Piece is the best anime-no the best show there is. And I mean, it has to be right? There are over 1000 episodes. There is no way an anime can be that long and not be so good. But seriously, there are so many unique qualities about One Piece, I'm not sure how I can fit it into this neat little paragraph. To start with, the characters are simply the best. Luffy is a funny main character and his crew is full of diverse and unique personalities. My personal favorite characters are Trafalgar Law and Roronoa Zoro. They are so cool. The world-building in One Piece is also unlike any other. Every little thing is so deliberate that something from the first arc could be important in the latest arc-everything is relevant. Because of this show, there isn't really any point in trying to keep track of what is and isn't important because it will be revealed in it's own time.

Pros	Cons
There are so many pros that it will be impossible for me to list all of them. I'll list some important ones though. First of all, the world-building in this anime is unlike any other. In most animes that aren't set in the world that we live in, there doesn't tend to be any focus outside the main setting of the anime. However with One Piece, it's like an entire world was actually created. You get to understand and know the different oceans, the different towns, regions and countries, and most importantly, you come to know that there is another whole empire essentially outside of the one they spend time building for majority of the anime. This aspect of One Piece is so important because it creates almost endless storyline opportunities. There's always something to be curious about. Another pro is that the characters are super cool and likeable.	Cons? There are no cons. Seriously, what are you waiting for? Go start One Piece. I'm kidding. One Piece gets two critiques more than others: the animation is bad in the beginning and the show is so long. The animation IS bad in the beginning but the wonderful thing is that as you watch more episodes, you get to see the anime evolve over time. Now granted, this is like 500 episodes in but if you are going to let bad animation ruin a great story I don't know what to tell you lol. So yes the anime is over 1000 episodes and yes this is long. My only response is watch 30 episodes and if you don't like it up to then then One Piece simply isn't for you.
